July 4th weekend, HEAT WAVE and Studio Air Conditioner Busted!
(Believe me, this thermostat is being kind.)
It was so hot that a Bass Amp blew up.
Engineer, Allen Farmelo recalls: "...climbing out the window of the
gallery next door into the filth of 100 years of Chinatown grime trying to
toss buckets full of water into the exchanger of the AC unit with no luck,
thus defining the difference between "Engineer" and "Recording Engineer!"
